There are various types of alergic reactions and so are
their symptoms. The types and affects of the symtoms of the
allergic reactions entirely depend upon the body part
involved and the intensity of its reactions. Specific types
of allergic reactions affect the whole body whereas some
peculiar types affect just the specific area of the body.
Even the alergic reactions to the identical allergen may
vary from person to person because of individual health
conditions and resistance power of the body.
The term designated for any types of combination of the
allergic reaction symptoms that are quick or abrupt and
probably life-threatening, is medically known as
Anaphylaxis. One of its signs is shock and has the exclusive
meaning in medicine which states: the organs of the body are
not getting sufficient blood due to hazardously low blood
pressure. The shock may quickly lead to death. The shock
victim may be pale or red, sweaty or dry, puzzled, nervous
or unconscious.
Some of the most common types of symptoms that are often
experienced in the alergic reactions include: redness,
itching, swelling, bumps, blisters, weeping, crusting,
rashes, eruptions or hives on the skin; wheezing, tightness
in chest, coughing, or shortness of breathing in the lungs;
swelling of the face or eyelids or lips or tongue or throat
accompanied by the headaches; stuffy or runny nose
exhibiting clear or thin discharge, persistent sneezing;
blood-shot red eyes that are consistently watering and
itching as well as swollen ; problems related to stomach
like pain, nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, or bloody stools.
However, some specific rare conditions may also develop
serious types of symptoms that may be quite uncommon for
which immediate medical assistance is required on priority.
